Genesis 3:10, Hiding from God

“I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”

If we have a proper relationship with God we don’t need to be told we’ve sinned. God’s Spirit within us lets us know. Of course, sin makes us feel vulnerable so we tend to withdraw from those we’ve sinned against.

Naturally, God…

Probably our family…

Maybe our friends…

I find two interesting things here. First, God will always track us down in an attempt to set the relationship right. That should be a source of comfort. It’s not always true of family and friends.

Second…since God is so dependable with this, why do so many Christians feel they need to be the “voice of God” for others?

Let’s let God do His own work…

Live boldly out there today…
